This animation tells the fictional story of a character named Lab Specialist Hadley – a bio-engineering intern at Aegis Biolabs Corp. The setting of the story takes place approximately 20 minutes after the events of the first Lab Specialist film, at a small corner of an expansive genetic engineering mega-facility. Lab Specialist Hadley hears about Lab Specialist Greene’s recent disappearance at exhaust conduit Delta, and goes to investigate herself when her superiors refuse to share details. This hybrid technique allows the entire film to maintain consistency – each of the dozens of keyframes are manually prepared and rendered in 3D, before allowing AI to animate each sequence.
